Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is University West’s overarching profile and basic principle applied to learning, the exchange of ideas, and educational development. The government has assigned the distinguished task of developing WIL to University West. Work integrated learning in education and research develops new, relevant and advanced knowledge both within the academy and among its partners, which also benefits society in general. University West offers a wide variety of study programs, has a good number of applicants and the students show a high entry rate on the labor market. The main research environments at University West are Production technology, Learning in and for the new working life and Child and youth studies and is conducted in collaboration with the surrounding society. Campus is centrally located in Trollhättan with about 13,000 students and 700 employees.

Internationalization is a strategically prioritized focus area for University West, where the recruitment of international students and employees is of central importance to the continued development. This focus area is new for the University and much of the work is about supporting the development of international student recruitment. WORKING TASKS
Some of the working tasks

  • Create content for our marketing channels
  • Give support in the international marketing activities for the University
  • Co-ordinate and keep prospective students informed and updated about UW
  • Co-ordinate the news flow in English etc
  • Update UW international social media channels
  • Update of UW: s international web

QUALIFICATIONS 
Qualified applicants have a relevant academic degree or equivalent knowledge, a verified ability to work independently, with qualified administrative and coordinative tasks and responsibility for delivery. The successful applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Due to the international working environment, fluency in the English language, both written and oral, is a requirement.

Previous international experience is considered as merits. Experience of social media and website content and/or CRM-system is also meritorious. To be successful you strive to build and maintain relationships and enjoy working with others. As a person you have a structured approach, show a high level of self-initiative and you are development oriented.
